History
Maryla Hotel is a historic building from 1914, which served then as a guesthouse of Frederick William, a Prussian Crown Prince. The Sea House Villa (Seehaus) was its main residence (located on the adjacent “Magnolia” lot) built in 1911 by Adolf Bielefeldt for Hugo Werminghoff, a merchant from Sopot. In 1912 the town authorities bought the building back to present it as a gift to Frederick William, a frequent visitor to Sopot. After two years of use he decided to extend his possessions to include our hotel building to which he invited the European elite of the time.
Beautifully situated in a 3.5 hectare park area of with rare tree species, the hotel boasts a stylish interior design. Everybody can find here something to their liking, thanks to its location close to the sea with direct access to the beach, nearby professional bicycle and roller blade paths. It’s a 3 minute walk from the aquapark, tennis courts and the famous Monciak promenade is only a 10-minute walk away.
